This is another one of my fave shoots from 2021. On one of my trips to Vancouver this year, I had the pleasure of getting hair goddess, Joy in front of my camera. It was a crazy rainy day and we thought for sure that this shoot might be toast, but VanCity has a million hidden gems to shoot in, even in the deep overcast rain. This shoot sparked a new love for the city in me. I had always assumed that the rainy city would be such a challenge to find beautiful light, but I was thrilled to be proven wrong. It looks as though some of my favourite shoots are starting to have a theme.. going with the flow. Being playful. And just having fun with a camera in my hand.
