I’m thrilled to announce a four-day wild adventure of a retreat coming up fast! This September 8-11! This retreat is going to be jam-packed with movement, challenge and some sweet moments of relaxation with an intimate group of fellow-adventure women! Maybe it’s not so ‘mini’ after all!
This retreat is for you if you live for adventure, connection and really want to strengthen your Brave-muscles! You can expect to finish this four-day retreat feeling like an absolute badass. Not to mention new friends and some epic stories to share.
This is a very full four days and I want you to be fully aware of what you’re getting into! This retreat is meant to push you physically and mentally! Once we wrap up, you’ll absolutely feel like a bad ass — braver, stronger and likely pretty tired! If you can conquer the things this retreat will throw at you, it’s guaranteed to spill over into other areas of your every day life — and that is where the magic is!
DAY ONE: We’ll check in to our shared space, get to know each other over dinner and share in a short scenic hike.
DAY TWO: Early day! We’ll have breakfast at the house together and then we’re off to enjoy a beautiful trail ride on horse back in Banff. Our ride will take us past the Bow River falls and the highlight is crossing Spray River. After this we’ll have a very quick lunch on the go and then get ready to get wet! We’ll be spending the afternoon White Water Rafting! We’ll have dinner together and have a restful evening.
DAY THREE: BIG day on day three! We’ll have breakfast together and pack some lunch for the day ahead. We’re headed out on an almost full day of cave exploring! This six hour adventure will have us underground for up to 4 hours and repelling into some deep caves! Be prepared, this one is physically demanding! After we emerge we’re off to the Banff Hot Springs for some R&R.
DAY FOUR: One last breakfast together and then we’re going to do an open group hike! We’re aiming for a summit on this one! Once we’re done we’ll head back to our space, pack up and say our goodbyes!
It’s completely normal to feel apprehensive about some of the activities in the itinerary. For some of us, they’re bound to trigger some fear. You might even feel like you’d want to opt out of one or two. What you should remember is that you will be in a very supportive group, where we’re all growing together. Your fears are welcome here!
White Water Rafting:
Challenge: Moderate
River Class 2-3, approx 2 hours on the river
Cave Exploration:
Challenge: Moderate
Steep hike to get to the caves
Underground for approx 4 hours
All participants must wear a safety harness which has a maximum waist size of 46″ (116 cm) and a maximum leg size of 33″ (84 cm).
Horseback Riding:
Challenge: Easy
One-hour scenic ride
Open Ladies Hike:
Challenge: Moderate-difficult

Our Canmore Adventure retreat will include:
> Shared accommodation (slumber party style- you will be sharing rooms and potentially have a bed-mate!) In a cozy Canmore/Deadman’s Flats Condo.
> Welcome dinner as well as a healthy stock of groceries for self-serve meals and snacks.
> Horseback riding
> White Water rafting

> Transportation to/from all activities for the duration of the retreat
