Let’s run away together! It’s finally time for me long overdue Dream Shoot Retreat! The next dates have been set to March 3-9, 2023 in Sayulita, Mexico. This retreat is for laid-back, travel experienced ladies who love photos, relaxation connecting with other women! There is room for just SIX attendees — and amazing opportunity to plan a get away with your bestie!
I’ve been to Sayulita so many times and I keep going back because nothing beats it’s charm! It’s the cutest little surf town with amazing beaches, shops, restaurants and the most beautiful sunsets! There’s lots to do around the area: shop till you drop, surfing, paddle boarding, relax on the beach, whale watching, secret islands, swimming, horseback riding, ATVs, hiking, dancing, and more!
What makes this a bucket-list-must?
As Women, I really believe we need to take time to remind ourselves that we deserve nice things. We deserve the time and opportunity to rediscover our self-worth and allow ourselves the experiences that support the notion that we are worthy.
A Dream shoot goes far deeper than a set of pretty photos and a glamorous girl’s vacation. From my own experience as a photographer that works with women every day (and being a busy woman, myself) I see that it’s easy to fall into a pattern. A pattern of putting other’s needs first, a pattern of being busy, work, family, tasks and the list goes on.
This retreat pulls you right out of those patterns and places you into the environment of support, self discovery, relaxation, rest, and a good dose of vitamin D. It’s a source of sisterhood. It’s an opportunity to let your full self shine without fear of judgment.
The photoshoot part is a magical bonus on top of all this, where you’ll feel your fire come back. You’ll feel silly and awkward all while having a blast and you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. Like I said, it’s more than a set of pretty pictures. It’s allowing yourself to be seen. Believing and feeling that you are (and always have been) a damn fine, badass woman!
The best things in life are shared! This retreat is the perfect girls-getaway for besties! We do lots of fun things together as a group but there’s also down time to shop, hit the beach or lounge by the pool. If you choose to come solo, don’t worry — it’s a very inclusive and judgement free environment!
Who’s this retreat for? Well one– you really have to like photos! Two– you should be an adventure lover! Many of the -best- locations are off the beaten path, meaning hiking, bugs and a bit of sweat (WORTH IT)! Three– this get away is best for ladies with a positive attitude and an open mind! The ultimate goal is for everyone to have the time of their lives and come away with amazing memories and new friends!
